October 16th was a night we will never forget here at Lace Bridal Couture! The Reading Bridal District was buzzing with excitement as we came together with renowned designer Allure Bridals to host our exclusive Cocktails & Couture event. Brides, stylists, and local bridal industry partners gathered for an evening of fun, fashion, and connection — the perfect reflection of our brand ethos: making bridal shopping not just an appointment, but an experience.

The evening began with a cocktail hour at The Winey Bride, an upscale cocktail bar and restaurant located in the heart of the Reading Bridal District. The Winey Bride provided the perfect backdrop for this intimate meet-and-greet with Allure’s Global Brand Manager, Nikki Deeds. Guests enjoyed craft cocktails, light bites, and the chance to mix and mingle with other brides, vendors, and members of the bridal community.

Vendor Collaborations

Among the highlights of the evening were our incredible vendors and partners. Local favorite James Free Jewelers adorned our models with sparkling jewels and hosted a try-on bar for guests. Charm Haven offered the opportunity for attendees to create their own custom charm bracelets, while Kim, owner of Allumer, presented a curated collection of clothing, lingerie, and perfume. Enchanting Fleur brought the night to life with stunning floral installations on the runway and throughout the store, and Monsterbeatz DJs set the mood with perfectly curated music and lighting. The entire evening was beautifully captured by Akayla of Akayla Renee Photography, whose storytelling eye ensured every special moment was preserved.

The Runway

As the night progressed, anticipation built for the highlight of the evening — the Allure runway debut. Our team transformed the front walkway into a breathtaking runway lined with florals and elegant silver Chiavari chairs, each holding a deluxe gift bag. As dusk settled, music began to play and the show came to life. Models glided down the runway as Nikki introduced each never-before-seen gown. Every design showcased intricate details, luxurious fabrics, and masterful craftsmanship — a true testament to the versatility and artistry of the Allure Bridals collections.

The Gown Giveaway

After the runway show, guests were invited into the store to sip champagne, explore our gown selection, chat with stylists, and schedule their bridal appointments. As the evening drew to a close, everyone gathered once more around the runway for one final surprise — the Allure gown giveaway! Our lucky winner, bride-to-be Abby, was overjoyed to learn she’d be taking home her dream dress, gifted to her by Allure Bridals and Lace Bridal Couture.
